The Salvia has now closed drawing an early end to the season of 2020. I would like to thank all our clients who were able to join us this year at the Hotel & Restaurant. We thank you for your custom and are extremely grateful, it had enabled us to stay open as long as we did.
Unfortunately the impact of the Coronavirus on the business has been substantial, especially having had a very short season, with far more cancelled reservations than anticipated. Given the volume of work surrounding reservations, correspondence and subsequent cancellations, we feel it best not to take any new enquiries/reservations with a long lead time. Until certainty returns to travel and our clients are in a position to know that they are able and willing to travel on the dates they reserve, making future reservations in the current health crisis is not practical. Preparing and maintaining the Hotel with a full crew of staff is only possible with guaranteed check-ins. We feel that we shall all have to wait and see the outcome of vaccine production, distribution and uptake, before thinking about future holidays and travel.
The Salvia Hotel & Restaurant are committed to delivering an exceptional experience, which has been extremely difficult this year. We take great pride in the running of Salvia and feel this can only be done when we know we can welcome our guests back in greater numbers, something that we have been unable to do this year.
Once the winter months have passed, we should all hopefully know more about the impact of the Pandemic and then make decisions regarding the future. We suggest checking back on this page of our website for more updates and the latest information. Until then our booking engine on our website is not accepting any new reservations. We hope that you will continue to remain in good health until we are able to welcome you to the Salvia.
